2025 Minto US Open Pickleball Championships Player Lottery and Tickets
Being the biggest pickleball party in the world, there had been a high number of players who wished to join. In 2019, the Minto US Open Pickleball came up with the lottery system wherein players will be selected randomly. This is to give everybody a fair chance and not rely on the first come, first serve mechanic, which provides a disadvantage to those who will register late. Unfortunately, not everyone can win a ticket in the lottery, but they can still join the fun and watch the games. The 2025 Minto US Open Pickleball Championships will still use the lottery system for the Zing Zang Championship court.
Mechanics for the 2025 Minto US Open Pickleball Championships Player Lottery and Tickets
- Submission of lottery tickets is from January 31 to February 4, midnight EST. REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
- If you win, you will receive an invoice through email. Once the invoice is paid, the E-ticket will be sent to the same email.
- Failure to pay the invoice will result in losing the ticket allocation.
- Tickets are transferable as long as they haven’t been used yet.
- You will still receive an email if you DON’T win the lottery.
- Pets are not allowed in the championship court.

2025 Minto US Open Pickleball Championships Athletes’ Guide
- Doubles Partner
- If you already have a partner, you will need to register with them.
- If you’re looking for a partner, you can join the US Open Pickleball Championships Connection Facebook page.
- If you already have a partner but they backed out, you can email registration@usopenpickleball.com to replace them. You can choose an unregistered player until April 1st and have them registered. After April 1st, you will have to choose a substitute from the already-registered players.
- Athlete Check-In
- Starts as early as April 26th, 2025, from 9 am to 1 pm.
- Players will receive your credential and player souvenir bag upon initial check-in.
- Players must check in each day they are playing before their matches.
- Pickleball Den: provides athletes with updates through text messages.
- Water will be provided at water stations and refilling stations, while food is available to purchase.
- Credentials and Fees: All credentials are already part of the registration fees on the Pickleball Den. There is also a fee for every event. For the Zing Zang championships, tickets are sold through the US Open Pickleball Championships 2025 lottery.
- Paddles: Only the ones from the USAP-approved pickleball paddles list can be used.
- Pickleball Format
- Amateur, Wheelchair, Junior and Senior Pro: double elimination with consolation. The consolation bracket will compete for the bronze medal.
- Pro and Split Pro Age: single elimination
- Pro Qualifying: single elimination with a single elimination Bonus Draw
- DUPR: All players must use their DUPR rating for fair competition.
